hmm.. e ministerial forum was fun n enriching.. haha.. ok.. let me blog bout e whole process n some things tt i found interesting bout it.. haha.. k.. e topic was: 'Singapore: is there room for more?" we were supposed to reach between 5.30pm-6pm for security checks.. n bags have to b placed in another lt.. i didnt bring my bag there.. but i went to buy old chang kee for my friends and myself.. to snack before e forum. e queue was quite long to deposit e bags.. i queued w my friends while we eat our old chang kee. haha.. 2 wks ago, we queued for e tickets to tis forum.. today we queue again.. haha.. to put bags. den after tt we head to nanyang audi.. wow.. e queue was v long.. from nanyang audi to slightly b4 LT 19A.. haha.. took bout another half an hr to clear it.. there were police officers inside.. 2 rounds of scanning.. e machine thingy n e scanner.. dunno how to say. haha.. den we went in.. soon e PM arrive.. w Mrs Lee n Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. Soon after e planning com head give his welcome speech, PM Lee spoke on the topic. He assured Singaporeans that e interests of singaporeans will come first.. e long term interests.. n he talked bout e competition from foreigners.. e need for integration between singaporeans and foreigners,etc.. den it was Q&A session!!! haha.. i shall jus mention e 2 qns tt i hv impression on.. haha.. thru out e whole forum, i raised my hand twice. first was PM asked for a show of hands those who r singaporeans.. wah.. i shot out my hand.. haha.. those around me too.. haha.. we r PROUD CITIZENS of Singapore! haha.. 2nd tym i didnt shoot out so readily lah.. haha.. cos nobody around me raise their hands.. PM asked who r gng into teaching or in NIE now.. haha.. my friends go turn n look at me.. -.- n tt mun jee.. today during lesson oso suan me.. say.. 1 was asked by a PR from china.. he asked bout buying of flats.. he's studying PhD now.. den he say tt 1PR cnt buy flat, 2 PR also cannot buy new HDB flats.. den PM replied.. 1 PR cnt buy flat, 2 PR cannot buy new flats but 1 PR and 1 citizen can buy new HDB flats.. den we laughed n we say orh.. haha.. den e student ask again.. is this e ONLY way? cos he think his wife will most likely b a PR too. haha. k.. we were laughing away.. another was e last qn.. on e ban of drinking water in trains.. haha.. go man! i totally support tt tis rule has no common sense at all!!!! who say cannot differentiate whether the person is drinking plain water or nt? even if it's a wrapped bottle, can jus turn over to e bottom jiu can c le mah. so far, there r v v few drinks tt looks e same like plain water.. even barley, H2O, etc looks a bit greyish.. srsly, tis rule is no logical at all.. n oso no drinking in mrt station.. where's e line??? where is considered in e station, n where nt?? srsly, i hope tt SMRT give in loh.. to allow plain water.. there was also someone who expressed that teachers shld b given less admin work.. so they can focus more on e students.. something like tis.. wasn't really paying attention le. haha.. thru out e whole forum, i was irritated by tis couple sitting right infront of me.. especially e guy.. really infront of me.. he made me irritated till i feel like kicking his chair a few times.. haha.. sry ar.. i a bit violent tendency. haha.. he was talking n talking to his gf thruout e forum.. den his head keep leaning towards e gal.. den hold hands, blah blah.. den he still put his elbow slightly higher than his head.. n still do so n talk when PM is looking at our direction.. -.- n e worse thing is tt smth happend which i think dun reflect well on ntu.. which i shall nt mention here.. it makes me kind of embarrassed..

k.. after e forum, i accompanied my friends to collect their bag.. den while queuing, realised after a few mins tt we were in e wrong queue.. aiya.. they oso didnt put any sign.. den zy (boi) tell them tt mayb u all shld b a sign.. den while queuing in e right queue, hv to go all e way back again, there were a few journalist asking students qns.. den one from nus campus observer approached me n my friends.. in e end, i was e one answering his qn.. haha.. i oso forgot wat he asked.. it's bout e forum.. den he ask what do u thnk of the old lady who went up to pm lee and say she want to be citizen, do u think there will still be awhole group of people waiting to be citizen jus for benefit of the cpf life savings.. n ask for my opinions.. he oso gt ask whether i agree or diagree w wat PM said.. i say i agree bout e integration part.. n e competition.. afterall, we need foreign immigrants.. wat we as singaporeans can do is to try to excel admist all these competition loh.. n w regards to ppl becoming citizens for monetary gains.. i replied.. i believe tt e govt does screen thru e citizens to select those of quality ones.. but there r still many who jus take s'pore as a stepping stone n will move on to other places in future.. but as long as they contribute to s'pore during their stay here, den ok loh.. haha.. i hope i didnt say anything wrong.. haha.. at e end den he ask for my name, course n yr of study.. he dunno maths under spms. cos he say he nt from ntu.. den i say i yr 1.. he say so i m quite a few yrs younger than him... -.- den he cnt count my age correctly.. haha.. he say 18? haha.. i wish i stay at 18 oso.. kidding.. haha.. i crapping le..

den went for dinner w jia xin, zy (boi n gal) to jurong pt for dinner at xing wang.. haha... i left my programme booklet in e bus on e way there. haha.. i didnt hv bag w me.. only hv my jacket, a small pouch w less than $10, ez link, ic, matri card, hostel card n hp.. haha.. reached jurong pt at bout 10pm.. den we ate.. n left there round 11pm.. reached back hostel 11plus.. arh.. now a bit tired.. but it's worth queuing all these for e forum.. haha.. when PM leaving, he was walking by e aisde near my seat.. he walked past.. i was 4th seat from e side.. haha.. up close.. too bad i didnt bring my cam to take a photo of him.. many ppl were snapping pics of him. haha.. anw, today e air was quite hazy.. e air is getting bad.. -.- k.. tis is a long blog. haha. study? slp? dunno.. try study..
