yay.. finally got it to work again, hopefully.. after repeated attempts..

ok.. my day didnt start off v v gd.. gt up round 1030am after half an hr of lazing around in bed.. i was thinking i m only left w a few cards to write.. shld b able to finish it plus pack e last few gifts n do e ham n cheese n leave home by 1245.. well.. i was wrong... cos at round 11.30am.. i hv finished e cards but realised tt e tissue i used to wrap e glass sticks to e words! i used tissue to wrap it cos it's sticking to e paper bag i putting it into.. so i searched my hse for plastic cling.. cnt find.. den wait for dad to come back from market.. intend to rush to market to buy den come back to wrap e glass w it.. den dad says he hv e cling.. so i tried to wrap it.. stupid cling was clingy.. keep sticking tgt.. yet dun stick when u wan it to stick.. -.- didnt manage to wrap e glass nicely.. so guess using it to transport e glass only.. after tt they can take it out.. by e tym i manage to finish taking out all e tissue n wrap e glass in cling, it was almost 1.30pm.. n i m supposed to meet cy n dan at city hall at 1.30pm.. -.-

i rushed out of hse.. hoping tt i gt everything.. afraid tt i missed out things.. n on my way to e lrt station, dan called.. so i was trying to balance e 2 heavy bags on one hand, holding phone n mp3 w e other n walking fast to lrt station.. haha.. i missed e lrt.. which led to me missing e mrt at cck station, thus need to wait for 6mins.. it's doesnt help w e fact tt i m already late.. n at jurong east, i missed e train again.. another 6 mins.. n noe wat? my mp3 decided to throw a tantrum.. thus it was nt working e whole day.. n tis make me kind of moody.. i m v reliant on my mp3 when i travel.. sometimes even short distance.. so being unable to listen to it can make me quite moody.. hai.. n i dun hv any bks with me today.. n i forgot to bring two, three things.. -.- hai.. e stuff i carried was heavy..

reached city hall bout 1 hr late.. called dan n cy.. they were at suntec.. near carrefour.. which is e end of suntec! ah.. carrying e heavy bags, i tried to walk fast to suntec to meet them.. it's a long road thru city link n suntec! was sweating n tired n a bit breathless when i finally met them.. met them at donut factory.. while sorting e presents.. i managed to get an orea white choco donut.. as my breakfast n lunch.. haha.. den went to get e cake.. den we were lazy to walk back to e mrt station w all e stuff.. each of us were carrying at least a bag then. haha.. me: mic n jy presents n xmas gifts.. dan: emily present n e cake.. cy: nic presents.. haha.. n w our own bags.. haha.. n e taxi stand is nearer.. so we cab to marina bay station to meet e rest.. but due to road works.. e taxi driver dunno where's e road to e mrt station le.. so make one round.. den drop us off opp e bus stop to marina barrage.. in e end, we still hv to walk to station.. but after alighting from e cab, dan helped me w a bag of e present.. so nt tt heavy le.. haha.. lucky we met e rest b4 we reach e station.. haha.. den we walked back to e bus stop to wait for e bus.. waited v long.. 400 came first.. so we took 400.. while waiting, many heavy vehicles past by us.. carrying 'sand storm' over us.. i felt a gust of sand swept past my feet.. -.-

ok.. reaching marina barrage, we head to e top floor.. find a nice spot.. it was kind of crowded.. many kites in e sky! haha.. abit cloudy too.. we started w bdae celebration.. cos scare cake melt.. haha.. it was windy. so we had prob trying to light e candles.. n dan gt burnt by e lighter.. n i tried to take e candle to like e other candles.. n e lighter tt dan was holding touched me too.. e metal part was hot.. haha.. i ouched.. haha.. den e bdae ppl go run away.. n poor cy, dan n me tried to block e candles so tt e candles wun blow out.. haha.. but e cake was yummy! haha.. it's bitter sweet choco top.. n choco sponge cake.. haha.. den after eating e cake, we hv e party hats, etc.. haha.. den present presentation.. after tt, it looks like it's threatening to rain.. so we pack our stuff n head indoors.. we went to 2nd floor.. found an area n sat down.. n bring out our food again! haha.. soon after, it was heavy downpour.. soon.. we were all v full again.. as usual. haha.. den we started playing blackjack.. we lost, need to eat e nuggets.. haha.. to help clear e food.. den after finish playing, it was bout 6pm.. we took some grp pics n jump shots b4 leaving for marina sq to meet sel.. n nic hv to leave earlier.. oh ya.. ppl who went marina barrage today r nic, mic, jy, emily, dan, cy, lyn n me.. 8 of us.

found sel at mac at marina sq.. den we head to breeks for dinner.. but all of us r still v full.. we didnt ex much.. didnt manage to play e stuff we brought cos of rain.. so all of us ate quite little.. 7 of us shared a main course.. except sel.. e place was empty when we entered.. haha.. as usual.. we were laughing n hving talking bout anything n everything.. haha.. but we had prob finishing e little amt of food we ordered.. haha.. n sel brought a cheesecake tt she made herself too! it's yummy.. haha.. well.. we managed to stay at breeks for bout 2.5hrs.. haha.. laughing all e way thru.. haha.. after tt, we went home..

it's a tiring day.. prob cos of e rushing here n there.. all e laughter, etc.. but at e end of e day, it's worth it when u noe tt e ppl u r doing tis for r happy n appreciate it.. e ya.. tired cos of laughing is a gd thing too.. haha.. v happy tt they like e presents n enjoyed themselves today..

though i m abit disappointed w e turnout.. n unhappy w myself for nt being able to give things my best.. n nt v happy w how my xmas gifts turn out.. n how things became so rush.. but.. oh well..

i really thank God for putting these wonderful ppl in my life.. bringing many laughter to me esp when tis isnt a gd yr to start off w.. barker is one of e greatest blessings in my life.. n one of my greatest joy.. do stay tgt n keep e barker spirit burning.. even to decades down e road.. thanks every1 for making today possible..

first i met lyn earlier to shop for cakes.. (but i was 10mins late..:S) haha.. nt many cakes choices at raffles city.. hmm.. there were some funny instances which i shall nt say.. haha.. but we both burst out laughing.. haha.. n we felt weird when we stepped into swissotel thru e link.. haha.. cos we r 'under-dressed' haha.. so i say we quickly step over e line to raffles city again.. haha.. was abit late in meeting e rest of barker due to settling of bdae stuff.. haha.. den waited for dan n emily.. for some tym.. dan's 3mins is dunno how many mins.. haha.. den it was raining.. so we waited for nic to join us outside raffles city.. den we decided to go ahead w our picnic at fort canning.. haha.. it was drizzling.. so we jus walk there.. w/o umbrella.. but we tried to walk in shelter whenever possible.. reached there.. settled down in a hut.. set out our mats (garbage bags brought by hl).. den had e bdae celebration for chris n lionel.. w e usual party stuff.. n we played w whip cream.. haha.. in e end all gt whip cream. haha.. there was a man when we first arrived at e hut.. but he left when we playing whip cream.. haha.. i think he scared he oso tio. haha. den after tt we took out e stuff we bought to eat.. haha.. egg mayo sandwiches from lyn, ham n cheese from me.. cookies from emily (really nice.. haha).. sausages from brian.. nice too.. drinks from hl n dan.. tidbits from jy(which we didnt eat at all in e end).. n utensils n severiettes from cy.. haha.. after eating, e drizzling stopped n we started to play frisbee n soccer.. haha.. den had some breaks inbetween.. played bridge too.. n majong.. oh ya.. we saw a chicken n a chick.. haha.. when emily, lyn, cy n me went to e toilet at sunrice, n our way back, we saw tis super big crow lah.. haha.. so worried it may attack us. haha..

den at bout 6plus.. we left fort canning n walked to bugis to hv steamboat.. i suggested tian tian huo guo.. haha... cos i went there last month w my uni clique.. n e soup is really nice.. haha.. hmm.. we managed to get them to let us use e upstairs.. haha.. only us.. haha.. though we need to go down n take food a few times.. but oh well.. we hv e whole place to ourselves.. haha.. n we can sit in a U-shape.. haha.. close to circle table.. haha.. better communication! haha.. n we go high n let our hair down again during dinner.. n tis tym? we blame it on e 'alcoholic' ice lemon tea.. haha.. jus like e orange juice on sat.. haha.. i randomly mentioned tt it mus b cause of fruits.. haha.. n we were singing happy bdae songs randomly.. laughing to our hearts content.. n hl n dan went high n start rapping some songs.. haha. n cy oso gt a bit high.. haha.. we oso played some games.. haha.. but hor.. tis tym one of e soup gt burnt again.. -.- hai.. think is e macoroni fault.. hai.. next tym i dun add le.. :( but i m glad tt they like e soup. haha.. n i think they made e right choice to give us our space upstairs.. haha.. cos if nt w our 'high-ness' n laughter, we will scare all e customers away.. haha.. n my voice suddenly change somewhere during e steamboat.. either from laughter or tiredness.. was quite tired.. oso cos i didnt slp alot ytd.. n it was a long day.. w walking n playing. haha.. hmm.. i keep gng down to take food at e beginning.. haha.. well.. i dun mind lah.. haha.. cos i find it a joy n blessing to b able to serve ppl tt i love.. haha.. jus like serving my sisters n brothers in Christ.. well.. it's nt a chore.. it's a blessing to b able to serve them. haha.. :) hmm.. glad tt they enjoyed themselves.. haha.. n though e weather wasnt v gd.. but well.. everything still turns out fine.. n we enjoyed.. thank God.. n ya.. i woke up feeling a bit like gng to fall sick.. haha.. lucky i m fine.. haha.. hmm.. i uploaded e pics.. but dunno y it dun show.. so i m uploading again.. i gt more than 200 pics.. haha.. i already nt taking as much as i would hv when i first gt my camera.. haha.. anw, i gonna miss s'pore n my laptop n internet.. haha.. think my email w b flooded by fb when i return.. haha...

i love barker.. i love being w them.. it feels gd to b able to relax n release those bottled up stress thru 'laughter therapy' n thru e 'love-filled' picnic n companion of wonderful ppl.. haha.. i thank God for their presence in my life. :) tiring, but it's ok.. haha.. :) b back on sun.. think evening.. haha.. till then.. bye! haha.. still can sms me.. but i wun reply.. haha..

hmm.. once again, i feel blessed.. haha.. i really shld get into e habit of counting my blessings for things in my life.. even small little stuff.. haha.. so tt when things dun go well.. like grades nt v gd.. or meet w difficulties n prob, i still can give thanks.. haha.. cos jus hving God in my life hv sufficient reasons for me to give thanks.. n jus hving e breath to live n type tis, i shld give thanks.. haha..

had a blessed time w barker.. :) though it was drizzling while i got to fong seng, laptop cover a bit wet.. but it's ok.. e weather does not affect us at all.. e warmth we feel when we c each other.. haha.. though nt many ppl turn up.. actually was hoping to catch more of barker ppl.. but oh well.. at least i gt to c michelle!! haha.. n emily.. :) of course.. it's nice to c lyn n danver too.. well.. we will nv get tired of seeing each other de.. :) haha.. tried e plaster prata today.. actually it's egg prata.. those soft-boiled de.. haha.. i like those type of egg yolk.. but i dun like those nt fully cooked de egg white.. haha.. well.. taste nt bad.. but abit weird leh.. prata plus soft-boiled egg.. haha.. didnt ate much cos of e late lunch.. haha.. but like wat lyn said b4.. it's nt e food tt matters.. even if jus sitting there for a drink it oso fine.. it's e ppl tt u r w tt matters.. :)

went for badminton.. nt many ppl today.. but e courts were empty!! so all of us can play.. haha.. hmm.. really played a lot today.. started w singles w lionel.. haha.. den when play double, my index finger gt blister.. -.- managed to finish e match b4 taking a plaster to put on it.. haha.. cnt dun put.. haha.. i srsly think i play better w/o shoes.. haha.. tt oversized shoe.. haha.. srsly, e indication of me playing alot today is tt my back start to suan le.. n my finger hv blister.. -.- haha.. but well.. it was an enjoyable tym.. n it's jus a blister.. at least nt smth more serious.. haha.. so still can give thanks de! haha..

after badminton, i hv 2 wonderful friends, danver n jia sheng, who walked w me to a bus stop further away... so i can take 188 home.. directly.. haha.. n they insisted on waiting for me to board e bus first b4 they board theirs.. they missed a 183.. told them to go off first.. cos 183 hard to wait de.. n i say it's ok.. nt e first tym i waiting for bus alone ar.. but they insisted.. haha.. so nice of them.. n when i reached home.. danver haven reach home when he stays nearer to nus than me.. kind of feel bad bout it.. haha..

hmm... will miss them de.. but everyone, do work hard.. we can do it! do take care of urself, stay happy n cheerful, keep in contact n jia you till we meet again! :) <3 BARKER! :) haha..

well.. it's finally my most anticipated day of e wk!!! haha.. weird hor.. i shld b looking frw to friday instead, when i finish my 2 quizes tis wk n start my recess wk.. haha. anw, went for calculus lect tis morning.. couldn't understand some stuff.. asked jx n zy (gal) n realised tt they oso like me.. haha.. den went to meet barker at somerset mrt..

had a stomachache during lect.. haha.. den went to bus stop to take bus.. missed 2 179 bus.. den wait a while.. ntu shuttle bus to pioneer mrt came.. so i board it.. den e next stop, i gt a seat.. den i hear tis music playing.. e song 'i wan nobody but u'.. den i was thinking to myself.. y tis person on her music so loud.. den next stop, she alight, so i move in.. den e music starts playing again.. but it doesnt sounds like it comes from e front or back.. so i look around n found at e slot, next to e seat, a pouch.. i opened n answered e call.. it's a guy.. n i was like asking whose phone is it.. den e guy ask me is there anybody there.. lol! if nt who he talking to? haha.. den he say it's his gf's phone.. ask me where i m now.. i say on e shuttle bus heading to pioneer mrt.. he ask whether he can meet me at pioneer mrt to pick up e phone from me.. i say yes.. so i waited for him at pioneer mrt.. in e end, e owner turn up herself.. but she use her bf phone to contact her own phone lah.. den i noe i'll b late for e meeting.. haha.. reached bout 10-15mins late.. den upon reaching, i dun need to search for them.. cos i saw 3 ppl sitting on e floor n i noe it's them.. haha.. n i was smiling to myself.. haha.. guess, cos i saw a familar scene.. n i met them.. after how long ar? haha..

den wait a while more.. den we went to cini K to sing.. K lunch.. 2-7pm.. haha.. gt lyn, emily, dan, hl, jy, cy, sel, js, lionel n chris we joined us later.. we hv chinese songs, eng songs, canto songs.. haha.. wow.. i m impressed man.. by their singing! haha.. they can sing v well!!!! haha.. *applauds*.. n hl n lyn can sing duet in canto.. nice! haha.. though i dun understand canto songs.. but i find them nice lah.. haha.. n i think it's cool to b able to sing in dialect.. esp in our generation.. haha. we were all impressed by hl's singing too.. haha.. sel can sing chinese songs well too.. haha.. i m impressed tym n tym again today.. haha.. oh ya.. tis is e first tym i go K box.. haha.. cos i seldom enthu to go such places.. as i dunno a lot of songs.. haha.. den we celebrated cy's bdae there.. actually wan to celebrate tgt w ty's at swensens.. but cos cy cnt stay.. so we change to at K loh.. a surprise one.. n she really is surprised.. haha.. we had some crazy moments singing too.. haha.. some songs we all noe, n it become a mass sing-along.. i think e most challenging song is e combination of quite many pop songs.. tt lasted bout 12mins.. haha.. cos hv to switch from one song to another within a short tym.. n to b able to think thru e tune when we c e lyrics.. haha.. n after K, e songs cont to ring in our minds.. haha.. one of e last few songs tt we sang was 当你孤单你会想起谁.. tt song e lyrics a bit emo lah.. actually most chinese songs r.. haha.. well.. we were oso disgusted bout some of e mv.. esp eng songs.. haha.. chinese songs r mostly love songs. n mostly emo.. tt's y i dun really listen to em.. haha.. but i like e lyrics of 当你孤单你会想起谁... i first heard it i think beginning of last yr or earlier.. from bear.. cos she keep singing e chorus.. i think it was nt bad.. e melody.. but didnt really go n listen alot lah.. den today hear e song again.. n sing it.. haha.. n i was reading e lyrics.. haha.. some sentences r quite true lah.. haha.. here is e lyrics.. haha..

k.. dunno y somewhere in e middle of e singing, i suddenly gt a bit stressed over my next day quiz.. super random loh.. haha.. perhaps too many emo songs? lol. no lah.. den i was a bit clumpsy lah.. i 'sprained' my thumb.. as in e type tt occurs when u try to put ur weight on ur whole hand but it shifted to ur thumb.. resulting in niu dao.. haha.. pain.. still a bit painful now.. den e first thot tt came to my mind was.. 'wat if i cnt write tml? it's my right hand.. i gt quiz..'.. lol! den after K, we took a walk to orchard.. haha.. where we met brian n ty.. had dinner and ice cream buffet!!! haha.. but most of us gt fulled after our first round of ice-cream.. haha.. i had 6 single scoops in all.. cookie n cream, choco brownie, butterscotch, hazenut, macednia nut n cookie cheesecake.. my fav 2 r cookie n cream n cookie cheesecake.. actually thot of gng for last round w 2 scoops.. one each of my fav ice cream.. but guess i cnt take another round anymore.. n i ate ice cream on empty stomach.. haha.. den i eat e baked rice after first round of ice cream.. haha.. really hope tt nth will happen to me.. no upset stomach or wat.. haha.. den we had 2 disney mooncakes to celebrate ty's bdae.. so special right? haha.. den we left at bout 10plus.. lyn, hl, jy, lionel went back to nus.. ty n brian went home. chris, emily n dan made a move earlier.. reached back ntu at bout 1130pm.. was hoping to get a seat on e train so i could take a short nap.. but i stood all e way to jurong east.. -.- den i sat down.. n i was soon falling asleep.. haha.. but only a few sec.. haha.. cos jurong east to boon lay only 7 mins.. hai.. haha.. quite tired.. n i think i today a bit suay. haha.. on e way to meet barker, i couldn't on my mp3... i tried to reset oso cnt.. last night was fine.. n i charged it last night.. hai.. 2nd tym like tis le.. but so far, it's still quite guai lah.. haha.. from my previous experience, it's better to spend a bit more n buy reliable brands for such entertainment stuff like mp3, camera, etc.. my mp3 other than these 2 tyms, it's quite gd.. haha.. i like it.. cos it's small n light.. haha.. creative brand. haha.. 1 yr plus le.. on my way back, i tried to on it again.. oso cnt.. when i hv to travel some dist w/o my mp3, it makes me v sian.. n unhappy.. haha.. cos i cnt do w/o music for campanion while travelling.. cos it helps to keep away noise by ppl.. n lets me slp.. haha.. dun ask me y i can slp listening to music outside.. at home.. depends.. haha.. so i was quite sad.. no music thru out my whole travelling today.. hai.. lucky i manage to get my mp3 working once i get back to hostel.. n next is.. i think my bottle is leaking.. dunno y.. perhaps cos i dropped it a few times.. but it's supposed to b able to withstand impact till a certain extent.. -.- hai.. cos my things in my bag abit wet.. i dunno y it's leaking.. n i dunno where it's leaking from.. n tis bottle.. i jus used for 5wks.. lol.. haha.. a gift from my colleagues when i leave my jtc job.. haha.. ah.. aiyo.. nvm..

trying to upload pics to fb.. like gt some prob.. anw, i v tired.. though tiring.. but worth it.. haha.. it has been some tym.. i think more than a month since i saw ppl like cy.. n i dunno when will i c them again after tis gathering.. perhaps thru small events like badminton.. haha.. wah.. k.. i starting to stress bout tml's test.. ppl asked me whether i study/prepare le mah.. i say 'hmm.. ya.. i study le.. but nt confident.. cos nt enough practice.. oso no practice.. all tt we hv is e lect notes.. i do all le.. so ya.. haha.. how???' 33% leh!!!! heavy heavy weightage.. my most heavy mid-term weightage mod.. haha.. i think some ppl were wondering.. u tml gt quiz.. wat r u doing playing n enjoying e whole day? haha.. i oso dunno y i can do tis.. haha.. but for it, i tried to study hard over e weekend le... haha.. though i dun say tt i totally let my hair down today.. but ya.. i still enjoy e day.. e companion.. e ppl.. <3 barker.. haha..

hi!.. haha.. ytd i went to slp.. looking frw to today.. i noe it'll b a great day.. haha.. was woken up by rain n thunder in e morning.. faster go keep clothes den slp again.. haha.. so aunty.. den woke up at bout 10plus.. n did my calculus tut for nxt wk!!! haha.. my calculus tut r on tue.. but i always do it first.. cos e qns r from e txtbk.. n i dun wan to bring e txtbk home.. haha.. den went for econs lect.. haha.. b4 tt went to atm.. check money.. haha.. it's in! haha.. i feel richer too.. but i'll manage it well.. i still wan to save money from tis lump of money de.. afterall.. dun spend all.. wat if my results nt up to standard? haha.. but i treat myself to a subway cookie.. haha.. for getting e money.. lol.. n for studying so much.. haha.. shall treat myself smth again tml. haha.. den zhiying (guy) go eat macflurry infront of me.. but is e chocolate de.. make me wan to eat ice cream.. so i went to bought e cone one.. n so funny lah.. first, e cone gt a small part chip off le.. so like gotten bitten off like tis.. den second is one e person handing e ice-cream to me w e tissue, his finger is in e tissue.. den i take e ice cream, he cnt 'pull out' his finger.. lol! haha.. nt my fault! haha.. den stay around to do a bit of maths practice on simplifications from e lect notes w jia xin.. she gt lect at 5.30pm.. den went off at bout 4.45pm.. jus nice bus come.. so i was at boon lay at 5pm.. haha.. suppose to meet lyn at 5.30pm at clementi.. did some caculations n figured i m too early.. so went to popular to walk walk.. cos sch popular quite lousy.. haha.. den 5.15, i start to rush to mrt station.. cos i thot i'll b abit late le.. den rush onto train.. den saw lyn's msg.. haha.. change to 5.45pm.. so i reached round 5.30pm.. waited for her.. cos there was a major jam.. while waiting, i was reading my notes n attempting to redo some qn.. haha.. but i dun like to stand at bus stop.. cos gt ppl smoking.. though it's nt allowed.. -.- but i really appreciated it tt lyn n chris came to clementi to meet me.. thanks for gng e extra mile to bring tis friend here to fong seng.. haha.. on e bus, we started talking bout brian.. den jus nice, he n js board e bus.. lol.. really cnt talk bout ppl behind their backs.. haha.. kidding..

ya.. i was hungry.. obviously e prata isnt v filling.. haha.. so on e way back, i went to jurong pt to buy yam paste.. haha.. i hv been wanting to buy yam paste from there since like b4 sch start.. till now.. almost end of wk5 den get to buy.. haha.. cos e yam paste there comes in tis small clay container tt u can take home.. cool right? haha.. e person heat it up for me.. den by e tym i eat it, which is after e interview, bathing, washing of clothes, it has already turned cold.. cold le nt v nice leh.. haha.. cos bout 1hr45mins hv past.. haha.. my roomy jus bought back mac.. haha.. tml quiz.. dun feel like studying le.. i so happy i did calculus today lah.. cos for e past 1 wk, i hv been studying for tis quiz everyday.. den didnt really care bout other mod or do other mod.. except tut qns.. i m still scared for tml quiz.. but dun care le lah.. i hv studied my part.. still gt smth dunno.. tml ask friend.. gd results or nt, leave it to God.. haha.. stop worrying, stop stressing myself out.. haha..

oh ya.. walked past famous amos cookie at jurong pt today.. it was my fav cookies last tym.. b4 subway.. haha.. but now hor.. i think i prefer subway.. haha.. both r different.. one is hard cookie, another is a bit soft.. famous amos cookies r nice.. was considering shld i treat myself to 100g of it.. but no urge to eat it leh.. mayb cos i had my subway cookie.. haha.. so did nt buy.. haha..

haha.. i m currently v tired.. so patience is a bit less.. n i m getting pissed off by a friend of mine.. sry.. i find her kind of fake.. there's a difference between showing concern n being nosey.. n e way she is saying things, i cant take it.. cos i noe she is nt asking cos she really care.. but cos of other reasons.. tt mayb selfish to a certain extent.. sry.. i cant take n i dun like fake ppl.. dun disturb me.. i m tired.. my patience may run thin..

haha.. k.. back to e topic.. haha.. dan's 21st bdae! went to church tis morning.. den rush home.. eat lunch den leave for harbourfront.. haha.. eh.. when i was in e lift at my block, i realised i forgot to take my wallet (again).. haha.. i hv my ez link w me. haha.. well.. tis is wat happens when i switch between 2 bags in a day.. haha.. so at e ground floor, i took back up again. haha.. lucky realise it when i m jus a little dist away from home.. waited some tym for e bus.. reached harbourfront bout 10mins late.. only found lyn n brian seated on e floor when i reached.. haha.. den dan n emily came.. follow by junyi.. haha.. brian look so dead.. haha.. junyi oso.. haha.. both of them went for night cycling ytd which ended at 6am today.. den brian did nt slp at all, went for tuition then come meet us straight.. while junyi managed to sleep bout 4 hrs.. haha.. so e 6 of us went to pack lunch first b4 heading to sentosa.. we went to palawan beach.. haha.. put down our bags.. n we start playing soccer w e volleyball.. haha.. e 5 of us.. cos brian is trying to catch a nap while 'looking' after our bags.. haha.. den we change to volleyball.. n brian joined in.. haha.. 3 guys against 3 gals.. v funny.. as e guys tried to pass to each other.. haha.. n junyi said one sentence thus causing all of us to shoot him.. haha.. he say.. 'u mus go catch e ball, e ball wun come to u'.. haha. after tt we use e volleyball to play netball.. haha.. multi-purpose ball. haha.. e 5 of us (exclude brian.. cos he went back to slp) were standing in a circle around e net n trying to shoot into e net.. haha. den after tt eleanor, nicole n michelle came.. n after they had their lunch, they join us.. n we start playing beach netball.. 4 against 4.. haha.. soon we got tired.. cos it's tiring to run on sand.. haha.. n we called for half time.. haha.. but u will soon realise tt all our half time turns out to be full-time.. cos we will change things to do after tt. haha..

after e break, we play frisbee.. tt's when tzer yeun came.. haha.. then we rest.. n then play ultimate frisbee.. den rest.. den we start sitting in a circle n talk random stuff n start burying e frsibee which was in e middle of e circle by throwing sand on it.. haha.. den play sandcastle.. haha.. den lyn, emily n i went down to play w water.. haha.. n danver came down too.. haha.. after tt, he go up he became e mochi.. haha.. den eleanor n tzer yeun were making BARKER near e sea.. haha.. after some photo takings we went to wash up.. haha.. cos it 7plus le.. we didnt get to watch sunset tgt.. but we saw rays of e sun when it was covered by cloud.. v nice.. :) haha.. really.. haha..

after wash up, head to vivo city for dinner.. at tis restuarant cum bar place.. danver was made to put on a party set.. haha.. n e manager provided us w toilet roll.. n help wrap him up as mummy.. haha.. den after eating, we gave dan his present.. a crumpler bag.. haha.. w e 21 items inside (1 item from each of us to signify our friendship w him n e last 6 items r actually BARKER.. e 6 letters made from clay (by me!) haha.. nt v nice.. no time to paint.. haha.. cos wun dry in time.. haha.. den give him e card.. ya.. haha.. e bag hor.. we try to hide all e way.. haha.. v funny.. haha.. den oso gt buy a choco cake for him.. den after tt, we went home.. haha.. cos 10plus le.. n some of them gt lessons at 8am tml.. everyone walk to mrt station n we spilt from there.. me n nicole went to take bus.. i reached home at round 11.30pm.. v tired now.. still need to pack bag for stuff to bring to hostel tml.. but nevertheless, i enjoyed myself today.. haha..

well.. though at times, i may b a bit quiet.. or dun talk tt much.. sometimes i may b thinking bout things or jus tired.. but.. i can say for sure that i'll always try to treasure every moment spent w barker.. cos srsly, i dun get to meet em tt often cos of different sch.. :( cant hv grp studies w em n i really dunno when e next tym i gonna meet up w em.. mayb next month or ??? even if e outings were nt packed w activities, or filled w mad laughter all e way.. but i'll still enjoy it.. jus simple things like HTHT or sitting down chit-chatting over random things.. looking at sunset tgt (Obs) or hving a simple meal.. it's gd enough le.. as long as we gather.. keep our ties.. keep our communications n sincere concern for each other.. true friendship.. for me.. sometimes when i m w some ppl.. we dun talk much.. i m fine w it.. cos sometimes we can jus enjoy e silence tgt.. if u r close/familar w tt person, e silence wun b awkward.. infact it may b soothing n can give one a break from e noisy world.. cos ppl like to keep talking.. me too.. but sometimes, we can jus enjoy e silence n walk tgt.. it's jus nice to noe tt there is campanion.. no words is needed... e very presence is appreciated.. i enjoy such silence more when i m tired.. haha.. cos dun feel like talking.. haha..

had a wonderful day.. n many made an effort to come.. though some hv to leave halfway.. tried many types of ice-cream.. many tt i nv tried b4 n wun try if nt for barker's ICE.. haha.. though stomach a bit pain lah.. but it's ok le.. haha.. n it's really a nice day out b4 uni starts tml.. haha.. first tym eat so many ice cream.. haha.. for those who wan me to grow fat, mus b happy to hear tis.. haha.. ya..

k.. let me add on.. how things flow from today.. barker was supposed to meet for brunch.. cos we nt sure whether there's tym for lunch.. so we decided to meet 9.30am at suntec food republic.. den those who dunno where's e food rep, meet at city hall mrt at 9.15am.. but it's a bad tym to meet.. cos it's morn peak hr! haha.. i told myself i dun wan to b late.. so i left home at bout 8.20am.. everything was fine till i reach jurong east.. e platform was half-filled w ppl! i told myself tt it will at least take 3 trains or so b4 i can get in.. haha.. n i was right.. i got in on e 3rd train.. nt bad le.. haha.. cos lyn took e 6th train from clementi.. e 3trains had interval of bout 1min.. lucky no more trains come from e middle platform during tis short interval.. if nt i dun need to get on le.. den reached city hall at bout 9.20am.. hl n lyn were there when i reached.. den chengying came along.. while 4 of us were standing around, a chinese family approached us to ask for directions.. wah.. lyn's chinese quite gd leh.. haha.. n we learnt e chinese name of starbucks.. haha.. den waited for awhile more for brian, jy, nicole, mic.. den we walked to suntec food rep tgt.. met emily n danver there.. den we had our brunch.. den we went up for rehearsal.. den for lunch at marina sq.. n back for ceremony.. haha.. took lots of photos.. laughed our hearts out.. n enjoyed each other's company.. haha.. wonderful day! haha..

den after bowling, went to pizza hut to eat while waiting for christel to arrive.. ate till v full n bloated.. den we decided nt to go botanic garden but fort canning for our pinic instead.. cos it's already 3pm le.. n we meeting barker at holland v at 6pm.. so off we go.. set out our sheets on e grass n emily has a pleasant surprise for me.. she made a choco cake herself for my bdae celebration w NSWCH.. though jus 4 of us only.. haha.. v sweet of her.. though it may b a failed attempt.. e wordings on top which is 'Happy birthday Karen' is v nice.. haha.. den they made me wear e party stuff to take pics.. haha.. seriously, i think i m out of my mind.. nt my normal self.. keep doing silly stuff for my bdae tis yr.. lucky both tym, nt many members of e public around.. haha.. but it threatened to drizzle.. so we brought in our stuff to a hut n cont our pinic there.. ate chips, e cake, drank pepsi n fruits like banana, strawberry (which i did nt eat.. haha) n grapes.. haha.. talk bout stuff.. den decide to pack up n cam whore.. jump shots, emo shots,etc n head for holland v.. lyn asked us to cab down.. so 4 of us gt on a cab.. n realised tt cos we r in e city, there's surcharge.. haha.. n we were 'amazed' at how e surcharge is higher than e actual fare.. haha.. we keep looking at e meter.. cos it's peak hr.. additonal surcharge too.. haha.. n we were further 'amazed' when e actual fare n e surcharge became e same.. we tried snapping a pic of it.. but e taxi was moving.. so e pic turns out blur..

when we reached holland v, they haven reach yet.. on e way, we found out tt only dan n lyn r coming.. e rest of e barker cnt make it.. cant blame em.. cos e details of tis dinner were nt really finalised n informed to e rest.. i was a bit disappointed lah.. cos looking frw to meeting barker again.. but it turns out to b a NSWCH dinner.. so we waited for em at coffee bean.. den when they realised, realised tt brian n junyi were w em.. so they kind of bluff us.. haha.. but brian was sick.. so we got out of coffee bean n tried to decide where to go for dinner.. when outside coffee bean, emily saw a person dressed in monkey costume giving out helium ballons.. she was so excited.. her reactions were v funny.. haha.. den she got her balloons n we decided to go to 3-monkey for dinner..

atmosphere there nt bad.. but i gt no appetite.. dunno cos too full from lunch or wat.. a bit nt feeling v well.. so i jus ordered salad.. dun really like e salad sauce.. haha.. but forced myself to finish it.. well.. it's e healthiest meal i hv taken.. so much veg.. haha.. den we gt talk.. e guys look dead.. they came from a day of talks.. n brian's nose is red.. eyes oso turned red.. n his left double eye lid became v obvious.. haha.. well.. i did nt talk alot during dinner.. tired.. n like nth much to say.. certain things flash thru my mind.. n i hv a feeling tt i may really feel left out of barker when sch starts.. when their common topic is nus.. hai.. dunno... after eating.. hang around a while.. headed home.. cos ppl r tired n brian is sick.. we walked to e mrt station from holland v..

hai.. currently vexed over some stuff.. hope to hv a gd nite slp.. n tml can hv a clear mind to handle it.. ya.. need to pray for wisdom.. pray!

haha.. met my lovely grp of barkers at buona vista mrt.. to go moe tgt.. haha.. i was late.. oops.. miscalculation of timing.. haha.. i like keep on late leh.. tt tym ps oso.. v bad.. hai.. next tym i wun b late le.. haha..

den sat thru all e talks.. e only one tt impacted me n i rmb is e one by e principal of northlight sch.. v touching. haha.. n makes me consider teaching there in future.. but it'll b a huge challenge man... it further confirms y i wan to b a teacher.. it's such a meaningful job.. but i m worried tt my interest in maths may b killed as i studied e boring theory after theory n proving in uni.. haha.. pls.. i wanna keep my interest in maths.. haha.. n passion for it.. so tt i can pass on e passion to e kids in future.. but i gt a bit frightened when they told us to prepare to teach h3.. lol..dun think i m up to it..

ok.. during e long lunch break.. we had a 'hard' time trying to decide where to go tgt after e induction.. finally decided on oh cha cha at raffles place.. n tt danver.. wear coat n tie.. only guy who did tt in barker.. n he wears it all e way to city hall.. many of us told him to take it off.. saying e weather is so hot.. but he dun wan.. cos he feels he's hot.. haha..

we sat at e table at oh cha cha.. drank our green tea n played 'i hv never...'.. haha.. fun at e beginning.. den as it drags on a bit boring. haha.. anyway, our barker grp hv a few more new members.. they r fellow tsl who hv nt gone for obs.. but hor.. i v bad.. haha.. sssh.. nt gonna say.. haha..

ya.. n i think i may appear a bit spoilt/unreasonable or wat.. cos i like keep telling barker ppl tt they mus go for e dinner on wed.. haha.. actually, i really really wan to go w em to ubin.. for me.. since a few yrs back.. birthdays dun really matter a big time.. or e presents.. n i seldom make requests on my bdae le.. haha.. cos i feel tt on birthdays.. e memories r more impt.. n tis yr.. i m so blessed to b able to noe tis grp of lovely ppl.. n like wat lyn has said.. infront of barker, we dun need to hide our true self n we often end up laughing our heads out.. although we r still trying to learn more bout each other. haha.. n i m blessed in e sense tt mine is e 1st bdae after obs! haha.. so i was really :) when ubin thingy was planned.. but now i cnt g.. :'(.. so jus hope tt can hv a wonderful dinner w em loh.. but i'll b missing out so much fun n i bet it'll b v memorable.. dun think will hv such chacnes again in future.. if hv, oso wun b on my bdae.. hai.. i m being a bit childish/ immature/ rebellious here.. but i really wanna go ubin w em.. :( hai.. k.. dun think bout it le.. i mus take care of my eye.. :(

haha.. started off e morning by gng for cg.. as usual, started off w a round of updatings.. den worship n bible study.. after cg end, they prayed 4 me.. my op.. haha.. feel so blessed.. haha. :).. den rush off to dhoby ghaut to meet my dear watchmates.. haha.. took 190 there.. went down to e station to find em.. but cnt find.. i was late bout 15mins.. haha.. lol.. den called em.. told me they r at starhub.. so i went up.. at b2, there was a starhub customer service.. search quite some tym for it.. found le. but they r nt there.. den i called again.. found out they r at lvl 1 e starhub.. go there.. find.. cnt find.. giving up den saw eleanor. haha.. k.. i was e last to reach.. oops. den they made e last 2 to decide where we go eat (seleena n me).. in e end, we go mahattan fish market.. haha.. 8 of us.. we eat n wait for emily n danver at e same tym.. n they arrived at e same tym! haha. n we started our teasing game.. haha.. there's always laughter n topic to rumble on when we r tgt.. i could nt recognise seleena in outside clothes.. haha.. anyway, all of us look different in jeans.. haha.. away from mud covered clothes, trackpants n shorts. haha. really glad to noe these 13 ppl.. hope we can stay close tgt.. though we dunno each other for long.. but e OBS experience has brought us close tgt.. though we dunno much bout e past of each other.. but we r getting on well.. n i hope our frienship will stay strong n close.. even as we move on to uni n meet more new frenz.. cos e experience we had at OBS can nv be replaced by any other camps.. these common experiences r 4 keep.. strongly etched in each of our own memories. haha.. rmb hor.. u NUS peeps, dun leave me out!.. mus cont to meet up.. stay close.. den rush off to 4 class gathering.. haha.. organised by me.. haha.. once in a while, i'll organise.. haha.. at first, during e process a bit disheartened lah.. cos those can come de nt even half of e class.. but whenever ppl turns up e last min, it's encouraging.. cos u dun expect em to come.. haha.. happy tt no one last min fly kite.. haha.. in e end, 14 turned up.. nt bad.. haha.. went to secret recipe to eat.. e guys were fussy.. dun wan fish n co, cafe cartel, ajisen.. haha.. den after eating, some of us tried e cake too.. haha.. actually, i think e cakes there r nt tt fantastic afterall.. haha.. while waiting for classmates to come.. me n huiting go walk walk a while.. went to IP zone.. saw tis jacket tt i like.. somemore on offer.. but smallest size is s.. n it's too big.. haha.. sad. after dinner, we go walk at daiso.. lol.. realised tt e 2 places i go today hv daiso.. haha. den after tt we go e garden plaza to take pics.. haha.. ok.. in order tt my post is nt so wordy, i shall post a pic here.. haha.. e grp photo of those who turned up 4 e class gathering.. too bad. didnt take a grp pic for e watch outing.. anyway, e guys were envious of us gals gng to uni.. they wan to study instead of being in ns.. haha.



den reached home at bout 11pm.. james was quite nice to send me to e lift.. haha. but i think it's really hard to find a guy tt is gentleman enough to meet my target of being gentleman.. haha. extinct le.. haha. den after bathing, i rush to upload pics.. by order of shaun.. haha. but cos my laptop siao de.. i cant open e folders from my com.. so i tried to insert e mem card into my laptop.. stupid decision.. cos it gt stuck.. i spent quite some tym trying to clip it out w/o damaging e card.. i dun care damage laptop.. since i m changing it soon.. but my mem card more impt.. haha.. finally gt it out.. big relieve! den slot it back into my cam.. i think no prob w it.. haha. den i decided to upload e pics from cam to fb str.. cos i cant save in my com first.. upload class pics first.. since they r asking for it.. den started tagging.. finally tag finish bout 120 pics.. den as i was saving, gt prob.. so nt all r tagged.. sian.. it was already 3am in e morning then.. den i decided to tag a few more n cont e next day.. need slp le.. gt church on sun morn. in e end slept at bout 3.30am.. woke up at bout 8am for church.. haha.. finish le, come back, eat lunch, slp! haha..



bought 3 tickets for e upcoming concert by my church.. 1 for me.. hope to b able to invite at least 2 believing frenz.. dun wan these tickets to go to waste.. any1 interested?

today's sermon was interesting.. from a different perspective.. haha.. today sun le.. starting another week.. still deciding whether to go for any camps.. faculty camp, cca camp, hostel camp?? ntu laptop offers faster come out leh.. i wan buy new laptop! cant stand my lagging laptop.. haha.
